What's Covered

25-Year
Structural Warranty

Covers pool shell leaks caused solely by structural failure due to faulty workmanship or manufacturing materials.

10-Year
Surface Warranty

Covers the Gelcoat/Iridium finish against staining, discoloration, or excessive fading due to material defects. (Does not cover natural sun/chemical fading, which can be restored via professional polishing.)

Critical Exclusions

What Voids the Warranty

This warranty becomes null and void if any of the following occur:

Unauthorized Draining

WARNING: Water levels must never drop below the skimmer outlet. Ground pressure can crack or buckle an empty shell. Draining must only be done by a licensed professional.

Neglect & Improper Chemistry

Failure to maintain water balance within standard parameters or follow the official Pool Maintenance Manual.

Unauthorized Repairs / Alterations

Any structural changes or repairs made by anyone other than the specific San Juan manufacturer.

External Forces

Damage from ground shifting, floods, earthquakes, accidents, misuse, or improper dealer installation/handling.

Surroundings & Third-Party Equipment

Decks (concrete, wood, masonry), coping, pumps, filters, or accessories from other suppliers.

Manufacturer Duties & Limitations

What the Manufacturer Covers

Remedy

San Juan will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace a defective shell.

Liability Limits

Coverage extends to the pool shell only. San Juan is not responsible for water or chemical replacement, damage to landscaping, fencing, decks, or any incidental, special, or consequential damages.

How to Keep Your Coverage Active

Step 1

Registration

The Warranty Registration Card must be completed, signed, and returned within 10 days of purchase to activate coverage.

Step 2

Maintenance

The buyer must request, read, and strictly follow the care instructions found at www.sanjuanpools.com.

Step 3

Claims

Defects must be reported via registered mail to the manufacturing plant within 15 days for structural issues (subject to a $75.00 trip fee per visit) or within 5 days for surface issues.
